The Dr. Martens connection is real

Samelin's Estonian factory has produced footwear for Dr. Martens and Rossignol among others. So when Apparatus shoes take cues from that heavy-soled British silhouette, it comes from a workshop that has genuinely built them — not a factory copying a look.

How they're made

Water-repellent leather uppers on a sturdy bonded sole, made under NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 standards. That's a level of manufacturing consistency you don't usually get in the fashion-boot category, where construction quality varies wildly.
