The Samelin 590 is the desert boot with three ways to fasten it — an unusual, genuinely practical detail that tells you it was designed by people who wear boots for work rather than for looks.

Triple closure, and why it exists

Laces, a zipper and a Velcro strap. The laces set the fit properly, the zipper lets you get in and out fast without touching them, and the Velcro secures the top and stops the zip working loose. Once you've laced them correctly, you may never need to again.

The Fury sole

A direct-moulded Fury sole — bonded to the upper rather than glued, so there's no seam to fail, with a tread built for loose and uneven ground. Direct moulding is the single best predictor of whether a boot's sole will still be attached in five years.

Built for warm and dry
