Samelin Widgets: The Everyday Leather Shoe from Tartu

Widgets are Samelin's everyday shoe — a plain leather lace-up made on the same line as boots issued to NATO armies. The appeal is simple: an ordinary-looking shoe built to an extraordinary standard.

A simple shoe, properly made

There's nothing flashy here, and that's the point. Water-repellent leather, a PU sole bonded directly to the upper, and clean lace-up construction. It's the sort of shoe you stop thinking about because it just works — through rain, through commutes, through years.

Made in Tartu

Widgets come out of Samelin's Estonian workshop, built under NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 standards. That means the consistency you'd expect from a defence supplier applied to a casual shoe — an unusual combination, and the reason these outlast typical everyday leather shoes.

Colours and character

Available in light brown, dark brown, red, green, blue, antique and a green zebra print, so you can have them understated or not at all. All unisex.

Keeping them going
