Construction — Stitched, Not Glued

Upper: 2mm full-grain leather — natural surface retained, not corrected or split. Develops a patina with wear. Water-resistant with proper care.

Lining: Full genuine leather throughout — breathable in warm weather, insulating in cold, shaping to the foot over time in a way synthetic linings don't.

Midsole: EVA, stitched directly to the upper. Cushioned and flexible. Note: the midsole is stitched in — not removable. Buyers who use custom orthotics should contact us before ordering.

Outsole: Stitched-through rubber sole — joined to the upper with thread, not adhesive. The stitching is structural, distributing the mechanical load of each step across the entire seam. When the sole eventually wears through after years of use, it can be replaced by AIPI's in-house repair service — returning the boot to full use without replacing the upper.

This is the same construction principle used by traditional European bootmakers for over a century. It makes the boot more expensive to produce and significantly longer-lived to own.
